Carme lives in a mountain village in Galicia with her sick mother and father Ramón, with whom she hardly talks. I work in a bakery. A woman wants to run away and break free from this smothering atmosphere, but there is always something in her way. The action of the film "Trot" takes place during the weekend, when Rapa das Bestas takes place - a festival of dressage of wild horses, which is a symbol of the eternal fight between man and animal. The whole village is getting ready to celebrate. Luís, Carme's older brother, comes home with his wife María for a few days.
