The sun does not reach the town of Barrow in Alaska for a month, which is an ideal occasion for vampires appearing in the area.
Producer Sam Raimi ("Spider-Man") brings viewers to the hands of the terrifying horror film "30 Days of Night," set in the secluded city of Barrow, Alaska, where the extremely bad weather conditions are typical of areas near the Arctic Circle.
In addition, the city is shrouded as every year with incredible darkness that lasts for the whole month ... When most of the inhabitants head north to wait out the winter, mysterious newcomers suddenly appear: bloodthirsty vampires, ready to take advantage of the constant darkness to "feed" the rest of the city's inhabitants.
As night falls, Barrow City Sheriff Eben (Josh Hartnett), his wife Stella (Melissa George), and an ever-shrinking group of survivors must do their best to survive until first light at Barrow.
