Linda White, a sterile, godly housewife lives in a Texas suburb. Her world turns upside down when she discovers that her dying husband has a 23-year-old illegitimate son Raymond in Florida. On the verge of guilt and inevitable loneliness, Linda fulfills her husband's last wish and sets off on a bizarre journey. He is to find Raymond and bring him to the dying bed. Along the way, Linda's amazing relationship with Raymond will allow Linda to learn more about herself than she ever imagined.
